The quintessential roadster? Low, compact, lean, with a perfunctory top better stowed than actually used. The windscreen is exactly that, enough of a presence to deflect the crisp air, errant bugs and nothing more. Materials with warmth and a tactile character (no synthetics or faux textures!). Herein lies the appeal of these vintage roadsters – the minimal insulation from the road and elements and the motoring experience. A time machine no longer to be found in modern showrooms.
