Crisp air, warming sunlight. Perhaps it was due to these elements that I was drawn to patina not polish. Finding old sheet metal that gave off warmth and that familiar engine bay smell of oil and fluid. These cars positively glowed that morning, resolutely perfect in their imperfections.
